HSBC - I love you

Okay, maybe love is a tad too strong!

But my credit card company contacted me today saying they would refund the £20 late payment charge imposed in April 2006.

You see, it is worth while writing to the banking world if you feel you have been treated badly.

yes, pays to complain. We have equal billing for gas heat and were assessed a late charge. E-mailed and reminded them that for most of the year they have more of our money than we do of their gas. They relented.
